The Tex-Mex casual dining brand grows to 25 franchise locations worldwide

Omaha, NE  (RestaurantNews.com)  On The Border Mexican Grill & Cantina, the world’s largest Mexican casual dining brand, today announces the opening of its first restaurant in Nebraska with well-established franchise owners Amy and Bryant Morrison. The 6,800 square-foot restaurant is located at 8810 S. 71st Plaza in Papillion and will serve guests for dine-in, pick up, delivery, and catering. Its hours will be Sunday-Thursday 11 a.m.-10 p.m., Friday and Saturday 11 a.m.-11 p.m. with happy hour specials Monday-Friday 4 p.m.-7p.m. at the bar and patio.

The Morrisons signed a franchise agreement with On The Border to open three Nebraska locations over the next few years, with the Papillion restaurant as the first. The Morrisons have a successful On The Border location in Rapid City, S.D. and bring more than 20 years of restaurant experience, ranging from fast food to full-service restaurants.

Greater Omaha area guests can now enjoy On The Border’s authentic Tex-Mex food and festive experience with family and friends. On The Border is famous for their mesquite wood fire grill and signature menu items such as its sizzling fajitas, plus house made salsa and guacamole served fresh with endless complimentary chips made in house.
