Pompano Beach Chill-N Opening

Pompano Beach Chill-N Opening
Chill-N is opening 4 new franchise stores in 2022

POMPANO BEACH, Fla. (Aug. 22, 2022) – Chill-N Nitrogen Ice Cream (Chill-N), the made-to-order nitrogen ice cream pioneer, announced today the opening of its newest location in Pompano Beach, Florida, continuing a string of development throughout South Florida. Located at 1170 N. Federal Highway in the Park Plaza Shopping Center, the new Chill-N is owned by franchisees Hugo and Michelle Sappey who will be introducing the concept’s made-before-your-eyes ice cream experience to Pompano Beach residents for the very first time. To celebrate its grand opening, the Pompano Beach Chill-N will be giving away free small ice creams with two Mix-N’s on Saturday, Aug. 27 from 1-11 p.m. (limit one free ice cream per guest).

“My wife, children and I have been long-time customers of the Chill-N in Fort Lauderdale, often making the drive down just to get our favorite ice cream. We fell in love with the brand from the start and decided we wanted to open a Chill-N closer to us in Pompano Beach,” said Hugo Sappey, owner of Chill-N Nitrogen Ice Cream Pompano Beach. “We couldn’t be more thrilled to share Chill-N’s Fresh in a Flash approach to ice cream with our neighbors and bring new job opportunities to the area.”

Here’s how Chill-N works: customers choose a portion size, then an ice cream base (milk, yogurt, or alt-milk option – coconut, almond, or oat) and then a flavor. Then the fun begins with the addition of premium toppings including candies, cookies and cereal, fresh fruit, sauces, nuts, and even Cuban coffee – because, of course, our Miami roots. Each scoop of ice cream is hand-crafted to order and flash frozen on the spot using liquid nitrogen at a startling -320° Fahrenheit. Chill-N’s unique freezing process results in a fresh ice cream that is ridiculously rich and decadently creamy.

“We’re so excited to welcome the Sappeys to the Chill-N family and to now be part of the Pompano Beach community. As a South Florida-founded concept, we love being able to expand our presence throughout the region to make Chill-N more accessible for all our neighbors,” said Daniel Golik, founder of Chill-N Nitrogen Ice Cream. “We look forward to serving the Pompano Beach area for many years to come.”

Since the first Chill-N opened in Pinecrest in 2012, the family-run concept has developed a cult-like following and steadily grown across South Florida, with the new Pompano Beach location marking its eighth in the region. The brand continues to identify South Florida as an ideal market for development, with year-round warm weather and high consumer demand, and has plans to open an additional location in Plantation in the coming months, as well as in Doral and Pembroke Pines in the first quarter of 2023. Chill-N is also expanding its development statewide, with its first-ever Orlando location set to open early next year.

The new Pompano Beach Chill-N is open Monday – Thursday from 2 to 10 p.m., Friday from 2 to 11 p.m., Saturday from 1-11 p.m., and Sunday from 1 to 10 p.m. To contact the store, visit chilln.com.
