RESPONSIBLE FRANCHISING: What Are Your Obligations?

31 May 2024
Room 1BO2

This seminar explores responsibilities expected of both prospective franchisees (buyers) and franchisors (sellers) as well as others who could be involved in the franchise acquisition process. It’s important to understand what franchising is all about, how franchisees succeed, and what makes the most sense for you if you become a franchisee. This seminar will show you how franchisors are required to follow government regulations when they sell franchises and it also explores the steps you can take to make sure you protect your interests when you buy a franchise. Franchising is the greatest methodology for business ownership and building wealth generationally but it’s important that you take advantage of all the regulations and make the most of your time as you consider buying a franchise. The seminar is taught by Dr. John P. Hayes, CFE, who leads the Titus Center for Franchising at Palm Beach Atlantic University.
