Navis Pack & Ship for Tiger Stadium Memorabilia Auction

Detroit (Nov. 9, 2007)— From the 15-foot-tall 1945 World Series banner to 11-foot long dugout benches, nothing auctioned from historic Tiger Stadium proved to be too big, awkward or valuable for Navis Pack & Ship.

Selected as the preferred shipping company for the October 16th auction of Tiger Stadium memorabilia, Navis Pack & Ship of Novi, Michigan, packed, shipped or delivered more than half of the 700+ lots sold. In addition to dozens of one-of-a-kind jerseys, signs and other stadium mementos, Navis handled the locker of legendary Tigers’ outfielder Al Kaline and the clubhouse urinal.

Navis Franchise Operator Steve Flam landed the job from salvage auction specialist Schneider Industries of St. Louis. Schneider Industries had worked previously with the St. Louis Navis Pack & Ship franchise on the 2006 Busch Stadium memorabilia auction. A Navis franchise also packed and shipped hundreds of seats removed from Denver’s Mile High Stadium in 2001.

About Navis Pack & Ship

Navis Pack & Ship is a business-to-business, warehouse-based franchise opportunity that specializes in packaging, crating, transportation, and logistics services for items that are difficult to ship. The company’s diverse clientele ranges from art galleries, auction houses, estate settlement professionals and interior designers, to companies that need to move electronic equipment and machinery.

Navis also serves residential consumers who are moving furniture, art or household goods, but have less than a mover’s minimum load. Navis ships across the country and internationally.

Franchise operators receive extensive training in handling fragile, large, awkward and valuable goods, assistance in warehouse site selection and build-out, and support with marketing, sales, operations, technology and hiring employees.

Navis Pack & Ship has clusters of territories available in several major markets, including Los Angeles, New York City, Boston, Toronto, Montreal and Vancouver. For more information on Navis Pack & Ship, visit www.GoNavis.com/franchising, or call 1-866-738-6820.
