Maui Wowi plans new Riverside shop
Maui Wowi Hawaiian, featuring Kona-style coffee and fruit smoothies, will open a new
franchised location April 12 in Riverside. A news release said it will be at the corner of Van
Buren Boulevard and Trautwein Road, between Kohl's and CoCo's in the city's Orangecrest
neighborhood.
The new location will be operated by franchisees Victor and Christine Sandoval, of Riverside.
Grand opening activities are slated for April 12 and 13, including Hawaiian music, contests and
product giveaways.
Colorado-based Maui Wowi has more than 300 locations in 43 states and Puerto Rico, and the
Riverside café will be its third in the Inland region. According to the company's Web site,
another is in the works in Indio.
