PC Kidz LLC, a Texas Based Children’s Computer Education Company, Announces the Sale of it’s Fifth F

TYLER, TEXAS - (March 21, 2006) - Chris and Nancy Pilla have purchased the exclusive rights to PC Kidz of North Dallas County. Nancy Pilla, the managing owner of PC Kidz of North Dallas County, stresses the franchise’s continuance of service to North Dallas County. By offering curriculum based, innovative, computer education classes to preschool and school age children through public and private early education programs, the franchise plans to aggressively expand, enlighten and enrich the lives of many more young children in North Dallas County.

PC Kidz offers a comprehensive curriculum based program emphasizing computer literacy, technology, and safety skills in children between the ages of 2-10 years. PC Kidz’s innovative approach not only aligns its curriculum with existing state and national standards, but customizes the lessons to the child’s developmental abilities and age.

Nancy Pilla, a Texas certified language and computer teacher, emphasizes that “Research shows children learn language from birth, then language acquisition abilities decline over the years. Much of computer use and its applications involve learning a new language so starting a child at a young age can provide enormous advantages through school, career, and a lifetime. It can make computer language as matter of fact for the young learners as English is for native speakers. Imagine the possibilities!”

PC Kidz, the brainchild of Steve and Tammy Perry, was formed in 2001 after Tammy, an elementary school teacher, noticed a void in basic computer skills among her students. The PC Kidz program is currently offered in over 150 educational child care centers within the five franchised and eight company owned territories in Texas and currently serves over 2,000 students per month.
