LA BOXING Awards Franchise to Kema and Jonathan Ogden
Total Number of LA BOXING Franchises Reaches 41 Nationwide
COSTA MESA, California (June 19, 2006) – LA BOXING Franchise Corporation has become the largest cardio boxing and kickboxing franchise chain in the United States in less than two years. Franchisees offer membership physical fitness classes consisting of unique boxing and kickboxing training regimens which utilize a system and products that are proprietary to LA Boxing. The Company announced that it has signed a franchise agreement for further expansion into the Las Vegas market, choosing Kema Ogden and her husband Jonathan Ogden as its partners. This most recent sale increases the total number of LA BOXING franchises in the Las Vegas marketplace to three.

Ogden won a championship ring with the rest of the Baltimore Ravens when they defeated the New York Giants 34-7 in Super Bowl XXXV.
"Kema Ogden brings corporate management experience to the franchise; she has held senior management positions at Marriott Hotel and Vacation Clubs and Fairfield Resorts,” said Carl Kosnar, franchise consultant for LA BOXING Franchise Corporation. "Kema’s successful business experience in the hospitality field will help ensure that their company will roll out a successful franchise program in the Las Vegas area," said Kosnar.
LA BOXING was started in 1992 but has only been franchising for a short time. The Company has grown to 41 franchises in 13 states since September, 2004, when it began its franchise marketing program. The Company anticipates continuing its growth at the rate of 3 to 4 franchises per month in 2006.
LA BOXING currently employs an experienced staff of over 30 people and has 14 years of experience in the fitness industry.
LA BOXING is the gym of preference for amateur and professional athletes and people in the mainstream who are dedicated to leading fit and healthy lives.
Potential LA BOXING franchisees are required to pay a $25,000 franchise fee which is included in the $93,400 to $103,050 of capital needed to get started. Location options range from retail strip shopping centers to freestanding commercial buildings and can even be placed in office campus areas.
