Amateur Sports League Franchisor Adds Key Positions to Handle Growth
BRANDON, FLORIDA - (April 13, 2005) - i9 Sports, “The Pros in Amateur Sports”, has added two key management positions to handle the company’s phenomenal growth. The announcements were made by Frank Fiume, i9 Sports founder and CEO.
The company has hired Chris Jarrett, an information technology expert, as director of information technology and Jay Parks, a parks and recreation professional, as field trainer and support consultant.
“We are experiencing exceptional growth, so we needed to fill some critical positions to ensure that we are providing the best possible service to our franchisees,” Fiume said.
As Director of IT, Jarrett will be responsible for training new franchisees on the use of the FranchiseManager™ software program, assisting with all IT support, and developing new features and benefits with an emphasis on making our franchisees more profitable through the use of technology.
“Because the i9 Sports proprietary software is the life-blood of the company, we have to stay on the cutting-edge of technology to ensure that our franchisees have the most powerful tool to efficiently operate their business,” Fiume said. “The addition of Chris, who has over 7 years of hands-on IT experience, will now give our franchisees a dedicated support person to answer all of their IT questions and provide short-cuts to operating their franchise more efficiently.”
As a Field Trainer/Support Consultant, Parks will not only play a vital role in training franchisees in the classroom setting on operating their franchise, but he will also travel to franchisees territories to assist them in securing venues for their upcoming sports leagues and events. When not traveling, Jay is a dedicated support consultant whose goal is to work closely with his franchisees to ensure that they are building their company successfully and guiding them as they develop season to season.
“Jay brings over a dozen years of Parks & Recreation Department leadership and expertise,” Fiume said. “Jay’s experience brings a whole new dimension to our company because he has been responsible for facility management, developed sports programs for local communities throughout the state of Florida, and has excellent communication skills which will positively impact new franchisees coming aboard.”
i9 Sports, which was recently named to Entrepreneur Magazine’s Top 500 Franchise list, has built a reputation for running the most organized, customer-focused amateur sports programs in the country. Players receive top-notch service, certified officials, quality venues, and access to up-to-the-minute statistics, standings and league information on the company’s website.
