Dalton, GA - Jersey Mike's Subs officially opened its doors in Dalton. Jersey Mike's owner Sidhharath Patel knows the importance of community relations and celebrated his new ties during the restaurant's grand opening on October 5.

To commemorate the event, the new restaurant, located at 1367 W. Walnut Ave., hosted a 5-day fundraiser from Wed., Oct. 5 through Sun., Oct. 9, with proceeds supporting Dalton High School. Anyone who had a fundraising coupon received a free regular sub for a minimum $1 contribution. Coupons were distributed throughout the community and in local newspapers.

Through his grand opening fundraising efforts, Patel hopes to support Dalton Public Schools' core mission - to be a great learning organization. According to Patel, "I want to ensure that the leaders of tomorrow - our youth - have every educational advantage possible. I invite the community of Dalton to join me, try a delicious Jersey Mike's sub, and support the Dalton educational system and all of its youth.

Reaching out to the community is a key component of Jersey Mike's mission. All franchise owners find ways to support their neighbors and employees are encouraged to volunteer their time and talents as well.
