Dickey's Barbecue in Fargo Celebrates its Grand Opening
America's Fastest Growing Barbecue Chain Feeds the Crowds
FARGO, N.D., Today October 20, 2011 Dickey's Barbecue will be celebrating its grand opening at 3402 13th Ave. South. The activities will commence from 11am to 1pm with $1 pulled pork big barbecue sandwiches and opportunities to win free barbecue for a year.
Music will be provided by Froggy 99.9 and 103.7 The Fox will be there to entertain the crowd and several drawings will be held giving three lucky winners a chance to enjoy free barbecue for a year.
Texas-based Dickey's Barbecue Pit opened in 1941 and began franchising in 1994. Since then Dickey's has experienced a rapid growth rate this year and is scheduled to have 200 locations by the end of 2011. This past Tuesday, Dallas residents flocked to Dickey's original location at 4610 N. Central Expressway and celebrated its 70 year anniversary where they offered $1 sandwiches and $1 drinks.
The original Dallas Dickey's Barbecue Pit location remains open for business and is still owned and operated by the Dickey Family.
