Amazing Spaces Named 98th Top Operator Out of Over 30,000 Self Storage Operators Nationally
Amazing Spaces Storage Centers are named Top 100 Operator by Mini-Storage Messenger. Speakers on behalf of Amazing Spaces are honored and remain focused on continued company growth.
Houston, TX, Mini-Storage Messenger recently unveiled the 2011 Top Operators list, and Amazing Spaces® Storage Centers is excited to be listed alongside fellow industry leaders.
Amazing Spaces is a newcomer to the Top 100 Operators list, appearing for the first time. Mini-Storage Messenger is the original voice of the Self Storage industry and produces several annual industry fact books and magazines, some of which include the Self-Storage Almanac and the Self-Storage Buyer’s Guide. Amazing Spaces Vice President Kathy Tautenhahn says, “I was thrilled to hear the news that we made the Top Operators list. As a company we are looking forward to continued growth in the years to come. We are always looking at markets to expand in and ways to assist our customers’ storage and moving supply needs.”
Of the approximately 50,000 self storage facilities in the nation, there is a combined total of roughly 2.22 billion square feet of rentable storage space according to the Self Storage Association’s most recent fact sheet. Houston-based Amazing Spaces rises to the top with three company-run properties totaling 2,100 self storage units which contain 274,280 square feet of rentable storage space. Focused on expanding to meet customer needs, Amazing Spaces broke ground early this year on their fourth and largest property yet. Development is well under way, and this newest property, located in the Houston Medical Center, will open in April 2012. The location will include 141,942 square feet of storage space and over 800 units.
