Pie Five Pizza Co. Opens in Dallas
Third location in six months continues rapid DFW expansion for the chain.

THE COLONY, Texas, -- Pie Five Pizza Co., the fast-casual concept from Pizza Inn Holdings, Inc. (Nasdaq:PZZI), has officially landed in Dallas. On Nov.18th, the company hosted the grand opening of its newest restaurant at 4447 N. Central Expressway at the intersection of Knox and I-75.
The new addition marks the third Pie Five Pizza Co. to open in just six months. Following successful openings in Fort Worth and in Irving, plans for further development throughout DFW continue as the brand attracts more loyal customers with a love for fresh, gourmet pizza made to order and cooked in less than five minutes.
"The empowerment we have introduced to customers with a desire for fresh, customized, individual pizzas for one simple price without the wait has been an immediate hit. We're thrilled to bring it to Dallas," said Charlie Morrison, president and CEO of Pizza Inn Holdings, Inc.
Doors will open at 11 a.m. and the first 50 people will receive a free pie at the new Pie Five location. Customers can order off the menu, which offers 11 specialty pies with gourmet flavors, or choose their own individual 9-inch Crispy Thin or Classic Pan crust, sauce and topping combinations to be assembled before them and ready to enjoy in less than five minutes.
The new fast-casual concept features an industrial chic design aimed at upscale neighborhoods and offers more than five million combinations of fresh, made-to–order, customized individual pizzas.
And the feel-good atmosphere champions more than the menu, as the new Pie Five has partnered with The North Texas Food Bank, where Morrison has served as Chairman of the Board of Directors. For every customer that brings in the special offer found on the Pie Five and North Texas Food Bank Facebook pages, Pie Five will donate $1 through Dec. 31 to benefit the North Texas Food Bank where $1 provides 3 meals to someone in need.
