"I've always had the entrepreneurial spirit. I tried to start a small business in the past but it didn't materialize. This was my first time approaching a franchise system," said Mitchell. With over 20 years of professional experience in finance, marketing, sales, and management, Mitchell is ready to take a path that will be more beneficial to his wife and children and bring fulfillment to their lives.

"Family and faith mean everything to me. I feel proud to always be there for my family. When you're running your own business, you can do that," said Mitchell.

He intends to get his family involved in the business and grow it to be profitable but he says it isn't just about the sales. "I used to always approach sales from a financial perspective but I realized that every purchasing decision, even if it's a piece of gum, is based on an emotion. There were lots of smoothie concepts we looked into but none of them got to that emotion except Maui Wowi," said Mitchell.

Finding the right franchise model was important to Mitchell.
